What size tank do you recommend for a betta? The more space you give them the better so at minimum, I recommend 5 gallons. Bettas are often kept in undersized tanks which stresses them and shortens their lifespan. They can survive remarkably well in small bodies of water so, with the right setup and careful attention to water quality, a 1-2 gallon setup would suffice for some time.
